What's new: WhatsApp support, review prompts, app shortcuts, haptics

Four features land in every StoreToNative app this week — all of them about the small moments that make an app feel like it belongs on someone’s phone.

WhatsApp support button

Shoppers can now message you on WhatsApp straight from the app. You set your number once in the console; the app deep-links into a chat with your store. For a lot of stores, WhatsApp is customer support — now it’s one tap from the product they’re asking about. Ships over the air: set the number and it appears at next launch, no app update.

Review prompts, timed to the smartest moment

The app can now ask shoppers for a store review — and the timing is the point. Because order status flows through webhooks, the prompt fires after an order is delivered, when the package is in their hands and the experience is at its peak. Not at first launch, not mid-browse. It uses the platform’s official review dialogs (the OS decides when it’s actually shown and rate-limits it, which keeps you within Apple’s and Google’s rules automatically). It’s on by default; there’s an off switch in Add-ons.

App shortcuts

Long-press the app icon and jump straight to Search, Cart, or Orders — the same shortcut menu first-party apps have. Nobody buys an app builder for this feature; everybody’s shoppers quietly use it.

Haptic feedback

Add to cart, pull to refresh, checkout steps — the app now responds in your hand the way native apps do. It’s a detail. Native is made of details.

All four are included on every plan, because they’re your shoppers’ experience — and shopper experience is never something we paywall. Trial it free for 14 days.
