From store to first build in an afternoon

Here’s what actually happens between “I have a WooCommerce store” and “my app is installed on my phone.” No compressed marketing timeline — the real steps.
Step 1: Connect (a few minutes)
Create your account and the wizard walks five steps: Store, Access, Branding, Publishing, Confirm. The one that matters is Access — and it’s one click. You’re sent to your own WordPress admin, where WooCommerce itself asks whether to approve the connection. Approve, and you’re back in the console with keys delivered automatically. Nothing to copy, no plugin required for this part, no code.
Your catalog starts syncing immediately — products, images, prices, categories, variations — and stays in sync from then on through WooCommerce’s own webhooks. Edit a price in wp-admin, it’s in the app.
Step 2: Design (the fun part)
The Design studio is three panels: a rail of controls (Style, Branding, Home layout), the editor, and a live phone preview that repaints as you work.
Pick a storefront preset — Fashion (editorial, tall imagery, serif accents) or General (dense, price-forward) — then make it yours: brand color and palette, typography scale, product-card style, grid columns, corner rounding. Assemble the home screen from ready-made sections: hero banners, category tiles, featured products, promos, a personalized “For you” row. Drag to reorder.
There’s no “save and imagine how it’ll look.” The phone on the right is how it looks.
Step 3: Build (about 7 minutes)
Press Build. The pipeline compiles your app — your branding, your catalog baked in as the launch fallback, your configuration — and signs it. For Android this takes roughly seven minutes, and it ends with something you can hold: a signed APK behind a download link and a QR code.
Scan it with your phone. Install. Open. That moment — your products, natively scrolling, on your hardware — is the whole pitch, and it happens on day one of the trial.
Step 4: When you’re ready, the stores
Publishing to Google Play and the App Store runs through a guided, checklist-driven flow under your own developer accounts — listing content, privacy answers computed from your app’s actual configuration, screenshots. Store publishing unlocks with a paid plan; the trial covers everything up to it, including living with the app on your own phone first.
An afternoon is honestly generous. Most of it goes to picking colors. Start here.
