Growth kit
One install link and a printable QR code, a smart banner for your website, app-only discount codes, and the deep-link files.

Open Growth. Everything on this page turns store visitors into app installs.
Install link and QR code
One link sends each visitor to the right place. Once your listings are live, iPhones go to the App Store, Android phones to Google Play, and desktops to a page with every way to get the app. QR codes you print today keep working when you publish.
Before then, the link shows what your builds have made:
- Android phones, until your Google Play listing is live, get your newest .apk if any build has made one, with steps for the prompts Android shows the first time you install an app from outside Google Play. If that .apk is not a signed release build, the page says so. Desktops are offered the same download.
- iPhones, until your App Store listing is live, are told the app is for Android phones only, with a link to your shop.
- If neither listing is live and no build has made an .apk yet, the page says the app isn’t in the stores yet.
The QR code is a vector SVG, so it stays sharp at any size. Download SVG and hand it to your printer for packaging, receipts, shelf talkers or shop windows.
Smart app banner
A snippet to paste once into your theme’s header.php or any custom-code box. Mobile visitors get a “get the app” bar; desktop visitors see nothing. It is self-contained, makes no outside requests, and never shows inside your app.
If the WordPress plugin is paired, use its switch instead: the plugin can add the same banner for you from the StoreToNative screen in wp-admin. Use one or the other, not both.
App-only discount codes
Create a real WooCommerce coupon that is advertised only in the app, on a home-screen strip shoppers tap to copy.
- Code, Type (percentage or fixed amount), Amount, and Expires on.
- Percentages cannot exceed 100, the expiry cannot be in the past, duplicate codes are refused, and the store needs API keys.
- Up to 50 codes per app. Each row shows Live, Paused, Expired or Demo, a pause switch and Remove.
- Each shopper can redeem a code once.
- Remove takes the code out of the app but leaves the WooCommerce coupon in place, so a code already in shoppers’ hands keeps working at checkout. Delete the coupon in WooCommerce if you want it gone entirely.
“App-only” is a promise, not enforcement. WooCommerce has no idea whether an order came from the app, so a shopper who learns the code can use it on your website. Treat every code as public.
App Links and Universal Links
For a shared product link to open in the app, two files must be served from your store’s domain: apple-app-site-association and assetlinks.json. The cards show each file with Ready or Needs info, and offer copy and download.
- The files are completed by your Apple Team ID (Publish → App Store) and your Play App Signing SHA-256 (Publish → Google Play, after Play approves the app).
- With the WordPress plugin paired, there is nothing to upload: the plugin serves both files. A file you upload by hand shadows the plugin’s, so do one or the other.
- The Product deep links add-on must be on.
Store listings
A read-only summary of the ids the rest of the kit depends on: the App Store id (filled in once Apple shows the record), the Play package name, your Apple Team ID and the Play signing fingerprint, with a Published or Not published yet badge per store. Android links point at Google Play only after you confirm It’s live on Google Play on the Publish page.
