Connect a Shopify store, the StoreToNative sales channel, Disconnect and Connect again, billing in Shopify, what an uninstall does, and order data.

Updated October 25, 2026

StoreToNative is built for WooCommerce first, and it also turns a Shopify store into a native iOS and Android app. On Shopify there is no plugin and no key to copy: you install the StoreToNative app on your Shopify store, and your products and collections sync to the console. You design, build and publish the app the same way as on WooCommerce. This page covers what is different on Shopify.

Connect a Shopify store

There are two ways in. Both end on the StoreToNative page inside your Shopify admin.

From the console. Press Add new app on the Dashboard. Under Store platform, choose Shopify, type your Shopify store address (like your-store.myshopify.com) and press Install on Shopify. Shopify’s install page opens in a new tab. After the install, Shopify opens the StoreToNative page in your Shopify admin. Click Connect to StoreToNative. The console tab sees the store and creates your app.

From Shopify. Install StoreToNative on your Shopify store first. The StoreToNative page opens in your Shopify admin. Click Connect to StoreToNative, then sign in or create your account. Your app is created in your workspace.

The connect link works once and for 15 minutes. If it has expired, open StoreToNative in your Shopify admin again. After the connection, the page in your Shopify admin shows This store is connected to StoreToNative and an Open StoreToNative button.

The first sync brings in your active products and your collections. Draft and archived products are left out. Products that sit in no collection are grouped under All products. When you change a product in Shopify, the app follows within about a minute.

The StoreToNative sales channel

StoreToNative is a sales channel in your Shopify admin. On the first connection it makes your active products and your collections available on the StoreToNative channel, once, so they show in the app. After that you decide: remove any product from the channel in your Shopify admin (Manage products in Shopify on the StoreToNative page). Products sold only by subscription cannot be added to the channel and stay on your online store.

The StoreToNative page in your Shopify admin shows how many products are available in your app, and the install page shoppers use to get your app.

Disconnect and Connect again

Disconnect is on the StoreToNative page in your Shopify admin. It removes the StoreToNative sales channel. Your app and its design are kept, but shoppers stop seeing your products, and Build, Publish and design updates are closed until you connect again.

To come back, open StoreToNative in your Shopify admin and press Connect again. The channel is made again and your products are made available on it once more.

Checkout and orders

Shopify’s own checkout, inside your app. Orders land in your Shopify admin, next to your other orders, and the sales that came through the app show in Analytics. Shopper sign-in in the app is not available on Shopify yet. The order screen in the app shows the order’s status. Cancelling an order from the app is not available on Shopify.

Billing in Shopify

A Shopify store pays for its app inside Shopify, not on the Billing page. Choose Starter ($29 a month) or Pro ($79 a month) on the app’s plan page in your Shopify admin. Each plan starts with a 14-day free trial there, and the charge comes on your Shopify bill. Each Shopify store has its own plan.

You can create and design the app before you choose a plan. When you press Build or Publish without a plan, the console shows Choose a plan in Shopify. On the Billing page, each Shopify app has a Billed by Shopify card with its plan, Manage plan in Shopify and Check again (use it right after you chose a plan).

The Agency plan, coupons and the partner program are for WooCommerce stores only, so client reports and the client hand-off do not work on a Shopify app. See Plans and billing.

Uninstalling StoreToNative from Shopify

When you uninstall StoreToNative in your Shopify admin, Shopify stops the app’s access to your store. Your published app can no longer show your products or take orders, and your products stop syncing. The console’s Shopify store card on the store tab shows Uninstalled on with the date, and a Reinstall button.

Reinstalling StoreToNative, then opening it in your Shopify admin, connects the store again and syncs your products. Deleting the app in the console does not remove StoreToNative from your Shopify store: uninstall it in your Shopify admin.

Order data

For a Shopify app, StoreToNative keeps order details encrypted and deletes them 12 months after the order last changed. Daily totals, which name no order, stay in Analytics. We read order data without shoppers’ names, emails, phone numbers or addresses.

Not on Shopify yet

These work on WooCommerce apps today, but not on a Shopify app yet: back-in-stock and price-drop alerts, shopper sign-in, product reviews in the app, app-only coupons, deep links (shared links that open the app), cancelling an order from the app, and the Agency plan. Featured products on the home screen come from one collection of your Shopify store.
