Preview on your phone

Coming soon. StoreToNative Preview is not in the App Store yet, and the See it on your phone card stays hidden in the console until it is. Until then, the way to hold your app is a test build on an Android phone: see Builds. This page describes how the Preview app will work.

StoreToNative Preview is a free app that renders any merchant’s store the way their published app will. Enter a code from your console and your storefront appears, with your real products, colours, home screen and add-ons.

It is a preview, not your app. Your own app publishes separately, under your own name and developer account. The Preview app never registers for notifications or Face ID, and it clears the store’s cart, wishlist and saved details when you leave.

Get a code

The See it on your phone card sits beside the phone preview in the App Builder and on the last screen of the connect wizard. It shows a six-digit code, grouped as 042 917, with Copy, a countdown, and Revoke.

1. Install StoreToNative Preview from the App Store.
2. Open it and enter the code.
3. Keep working in the console. Changes reach the preview when you reopen or resume it.

Code lifetimes

• Ordinary codes last 24 hours. Press New code for another.
• Showcase codes last 30 days. Press Sharing it with a customer or a reviewer? Get a 30-day code to hand one to a client, a colleague or a store reviewer.
• Revoke stops a code working the next time the Preview app launches or resumes.

An app can have up to 20 live codes at once. If you see This app has too many live preview codes — revoke one first, revoke one you no longer need.

Client seats can see a live code but cannot issue one. If a client sees No live preview code, the workspace owner or an admin creates one.
