Home screen

Open App Builder → Design studio → Home layout. The home screen is a stack of up to 12 sections. Drag a section to reorder it, or use the arrows. Each section has an on/off switch and a remove button. The phone preview updates as you go, and every change reaches installed apps on their next launch.

Section types

Section	What it shows
Hero banners	A swipeable full-width banner carousel, up to eight banners, each with its own link.
Category tiles	Quick links into your categories, as a row or a grid. All categories, or a chosen set.
Featured products	A product carousel. Source Automatic (products marked featured in WooCommerce) or Hand-picked, up to 20 products.
On sale	Products currently on sale.
New arrivals	Your newest products.
Best sellers	Updates on its own as sales come in.
For you	Each shopper’s chosen categories, from the Interest picker slide in the intro. Shoppers who skipped the picker see your featured products instead.
Recently viewed	Products the shopper opened. Stored on their device and never sent to you.
Promo banner	A single full-width promo strip.
Split banners	Two half-width banners side by side, each with its own link.
Countdown	A banner with a live timer to a deadline you set. It hides itself when the deadline passes.
Announcement	A slim text strip of up to 120 characters for shipping deals, holiday hours or any short notice. Without text it is not shown.

Section settings

Most sections share the same settings: a title, an optional subtitle, title alignment (Auto, Start, Center), a layout (carousel, two-column grid, three-column grid, or list), how many products to show, and whether to show a See all link. Banners and tiles take a link: Nothing (just an image), A category, or A product.

Scheduling

Every section can carry a Show from and Until date. Outside that window the section is left out of the app entirely, on every app version, from the next time shoppers open the app. The section list shows the state: scheduled · starts …, live · ends …, or ended. Use it for a sale banner that should appear on Friday and disappear on Monday without anyone remembering to remove it.

Images

Banner and tile images are PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 5 MB each. Each app has an image allowance; when it is reached, the upload is refused with This app has reached its image limit — remove images you no longer use. Trial workspaces have half the allowance. Uploading many images in a short burst can trigger Too many uploads just now — try again in a few minutes.
